English translation

Pallavi

Are you satisfied Rama,
Who was prayed by great sages,
And who took care of the elephant

Anupallavi

Are You satisfied Rama,
Who is the divine Purusha, the lord of universe, and who speaks softly,
And who is the place where all the good is there.

Charanam

1.Are you satisfied Rama because you are housed in this pretty town,
Which is incomparable, which is in the banks the river Cauvery with sweet breeze,
Which has places to sit, houses with more than one floor which shine by prettiness,
Which has Brahmins, Agnihothris and full of sound of Vedas and prayers,
And where Lord Shiva who wants to see you is there.

2.Are you satisfied oh Rama , that you were made
To live here in the golden gem studded Mandap,
In this Thiruvaiyaru where Sweet smelling flowers abound,
Where birds like the Koel sing, Where divine trees which would
Surprise even sages like Sanaka are there,
And where in front of your place the goddess of learning is serving you.

3.Are you happy to live in his blessed Thiruvaiyaru which is,
In the pretty Chola desa of this great earth,
Where you have agreed to live near live near God Pranatharthihara,
And want to live here comfortably for many more years to come,
Oh Rama Oh God who is served by Hanuman, the son of wind God.
