Badhakam yethum cheyyadavan

1.Nalla naalil vandhu piranthanadi ,
Makkal nayakamai engum irunthanadi,
Thollai yellam yethu sirithanadi,
Antha thooyavan siluvayil marithanadi.

2. Ulagamellam uyya vazhi vaguthanadi,(Ragam :Kalyani)
Oruvane deivamendru uruthi sonnanadi,
Nila porul yavum than uyir endranadi,
Naan yennum agandhayai avamadhithanadi

3.Vedangal arindha bodhanadi, (Ragam :Shuddha Saveri)
Oru bedamum illada medhaiyadi,
Sonna Kattalai pathayum kadai pidippomadi,
Karthanin pugazh paadi kai kuvippomadi.

English translation

Pallavi
Oh friend tell me are there any one,
Who is as pure as Jesus.

Anupallavi
He is full of affection , friendship and culture,
He is the one who does no bad to others.

Charanam
1, Oh friend, He was born on a good day,
Oh friend, He was there as the leader of men,
Oh friend, He took all problems on himself and smiled.

2.Oh friend, He formulated the path for the whole world to improve,
Oh friend, he told with certainty that there is only one God,
Oh Friend, he told that all things on the earth are his soul,
Oh friend he insulted the pride of self.

3.Oh friend, He was a wise man knowing Vedas,
Oh Friend, He was a genius who did not have any difference,
Oh friend, we will obey the ten commandments told by him,
Oh friend, we will sing the fame of the Lord and salute him.
