Mathavame oo guruvai,
Vandathu kaan vazhi vasamai

Athavanai kanda pani pol,
Achuthu , yen kuraigalai theera

Neelakandam yenduraithu yen,
Neramum siva kathai padikkum,
Seela guna thondar thiru,
Chevadi kanden yaan.
English translation
Pallavi
Oh great penance has come ,
As my teacher due to fate
Anupallavi
Similar to the mist on seeing the sun,
It has come to remove my problems.
Charanam
Saying Neelakandam , I saw the divine feet of
Great savants of Lord Shiva who ,
Always read the story of Lord Shiva.
