Oh Rama  , today I understood ,

The   result of bad acts  in   the last birth.

phalamempo   arachethi ,

Pundikaddhamu valena

May be this fruit of my past deeds  are like a mirror,

Is there a need of a mirror to see   sore of the palm?

Rajilla   nerchunataraa,

Naga Sayana   Thyagaraju   papamuthonu,

Nama  punyamu   chelagunaa  nenu

Just like a pretty seedling of paddy  might  grow ,

Luxuriously near a ragi crop in a dry land  ,

Oh Lord sleeping on serpent , Would the result ,

Of my good deeds   shine along with the sins of Thyagaraja.
